MAGIC AND SOOTHSAYING (2)

It is very easy to get freaked with the deceptive ways of magic doers and soothsayers. Even though some of them may appear like people of God but there mode of operation is strictly with evils. Despite man been regarded as the best of creatures, we often fall when we seek power from Jinns instead of Allah (the creator).

Unlike witches who are human beings, Jinns and other evil spirits are non human beings, created by Allah from fire. They are usually unseen by naked eyes, they were said to have the ability to transform to human beings, animals, fire or any unimaginable forms within twinkle of an eyes and could transport a long distance within a short time. They usually resides in dirty areas, deserts, abandoned settlements, toilets and riversides.

Notably, the magicians and soothsayers  used to enter contract with evil Jinns through certain rituals, hence, they perform things which contradicts the natural law. Imagine a man turning to snake, turning water to blood, cooking a pot of food with ordinary sheet of paper, appearing and disappearing, and so many other things that are unusual.

Allah, having known man are always eager to make things happen and that we are easily deceived, He thus warns those who call on Jinns or other spirits and invoke them for one assistance, as follows:
Surah 18 - Al-Kahf - Ayah 50

"And remember when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before 'Adam." So, they prostrated themselves, all but Iblis. He was of the Jinn, so he transgressed from the command of your Lord. Is it then that you will take him and his progeny as friends instead of Me while they are enemy to you? Evil is he as substitute, for wrongdoers"

The above presupposes that Jinns are offspring of Shaitan.

The prophet in his final sermon appealed to Muslims, saying: "Beware of Iblis and his offsprings, for the safety of religion; for Shaitan has lost all hope of misguiding you in the big sins of abandoning prayers, fasting and Islam altogether, but he would seek to mislead you in the seemingly innocuous things (like magic, soothsaying). So beware"

To this end, if anyone in the name of sainthood quit observing the pillars of Islam (as we have commonly heard they exist with large number of followers) and still perform things that defies natural law, he's Waliyy for Shaitan.

Be aware! Beware! Be guided.
