THE WEBS OF SHAITAN, THE WAY OUT (PART ONE)

"Surely Shaitan is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy. He only invites his hizb (followers) that they may became the dweller of the blazing fire"  (Fātir 35:6)

I read "The Webs Of Shaitan, The Way Out" some years back, probably around 2016/17. As expected, it was informing and insightful. I took it up again two days ago, read some pages and today I thought of writing a short piece about it.

From its title, it could be deduced that it has two important part to examine; the webs of Shaitan and the way out. However, it took a start from the creation and purpose of man, the webs of Shaitan and the need for Muslims to retrace their steps to proper practices of Islam from which they have deviated from, most especially in the name of modernism or rolling with the world "Baye base nyi kama baye yii".

Aristotle in his philosophical observation said everything in the universe moves, he concluded that there must be an unmovable mover who makes things move - Allah.

Notably, the book calls the attention of man to scrutinization with questions like; Who am I? Where am I coming from? Where am I going? What is my purpose in life? What happens to me after short existence here? All this would aid self realization and the limits of man as an ordinary servant of Allah (You will find answers to it in the book with references to Qur'an and scholars). Most importantly, man as portray in the Qur'an wasn't created for anything except that they worship Allah, that is the primary purpose of life which the secondary must not overwhelmed as that would explain how the afterworld would be like.

Right after the rudeness of Ibless to prostrate for Prophet Adam which led him to being the most accursed in the world, he began war against human being (believers). He (Shaitan) promised to lead man astray:

“(Iblees) said: ‘Because You have sent me astray, surely, I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your straight path. Then I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left, and You will not find most of them as thankful ones (i.e. they will not be dutiful to You)’” [al-A’raaf 7:16-17 – interpretation of the meaning]

Shaitan does not make an empty threat, hence, he designs his web seemingly as ornaments. The author referred the web to as "The Woe-bearing W's", they are:
